I started this blog in 2012, as my youngest child was leaving for college. Finally, we would be "empty nesters". Oh how we dreamed about this time we would have alone. We were going to share our amazing journey with the world through this blog. I was about to embark on a journey alright, but it did not turn out to be the amazing love story I expected it would be. This is my journey. The end.... the middle.... The beginning........

Project loft?
Rule to follow when working with your husband or spouse, as the case may be:
1. Find or create a plan to follow and make your spouse pinky swear to follow it exactly. They won't follow the plan exactly but it may deter them from deviating too much.
2. Make a list. Pinky swear to stick to it. Absolutely no extras! I have to admit this is where I often fall short. My husband always gives in to what extras I put in the cart. Stay strong my love!
The MOST important rule:
3. Never, never, never send your spouse alone to pick up the materials. They'll come back with thousands of dollars of tools they "NEED" to complete the project.
I was a nervous wreak all the way home. It was only about two miles, but still.
Beginning of project.
Phase 1: turn Morgan's bed into a couch/toddler bed.
1. Craig is cutting boards to make this antique wood bed frame into a couch that can be converted into a toddler bed.
Let us pray. (No joke!)
