 To this without going crazy...

And I'm Done!

However.....

          Really think I need a rug in the hall to make the whole idea more cohesive.

       What do you think?  

             I really need to get out of this house!

Part3

Decided to do the whole thing over.  Better to do now than kill, I mean deal with it later.  Used the wrong polyurethane anyway.  Comes right up with painters tape.  Would have been good to know before my husband tried to scrape it off.  

Too late to give up now.  I see a huge reward in my future.  You see, hubby at work. I get to deal with this pleasure all by myself.  Yeah me! 

I know I can part two!

       A few hours later I had this....

      

      

      

     Not bad for my first floor painting.      

                  I'm kinda proud.  

     Here's my problem...

      

          Notice the color difference?       

        That's not a shadow on the left.  

       Be sure to read ALL directions very 

                         carefully.  

        This poly will change the    

        appearance of paint color.  

          Now we have to decide do we continue, cover the remainder of the living room and change the color or even ruin my beautiful rug?  Or do we redo the side that is already done?  

           Why it takes us a two weeks to 

         do what everyone else on Pinterest 

             can do in a couple of days,     

                     I have No Idea!

I think I can, I think I can, I know I can!

School's out.  So now the projects begin.  First up are the floors in my living room and hall.  We already pulled up those nasty fake wood floors.  Loved them at my last house and their great to have if you have kids.  Not great when you have a dog that "marks his territory" everywhere.  (For the record I wanted to get him fixed but my husband rambled something about guy code and he could do that to him?   CJ is a tiny dog that stays inside or in a fenced yard.  He's not producing any more CJ's.  he's never out of our sight.  Don't judge.)

Living in the present?

      Formal observations, and state testing are over and I survived.  Your told to teach a certain way, expected to do certain things in your observations for 16 years, and they flip the switch on you.
